Some Of The Harry Potter Cast Members Reunited And It Was Magic
It's been seven years since the final Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 hit theaters. In the time since, the various members of the ensemble cast have gone on to different types of projects, but they apparently still make time for one another every now and again. In fact, recently Emma Watson, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis reunited and snapped a picture during the occasion, which Felton shared with his fans. You can take a look at the magical reunion photo, below.
Although the original trio would certainly be Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Danielle Radcliffe, seeing Hermione hang out with Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom is still a fun way to reminisce about a fandom many of us love. Tom Felton's post doesn't indicate where the black and white photo was snapped, but it does come with a #hogwartsalumi hashtag, which is something we can all get behind. Fellow co-star Jason Isaacs even commented on the photo, noting:
It's like the front cover of Orthodontist Monthly.
As for what the three actors are up to these days, Emma Watson was in two movies last year, Beauty and the Beast and The Circle. Tom Felton had a lengthy role on the CW series The Flash (and the gig even referenced Harry Potter), and has some movie projects coming up. Matthew Lewis has gotten a lot of work on TV in the time since the Harry Potter movies wrapped; recently he's been in Girlfriends and Ripper Street. He also had a small but memorable turn in the flick Me Before You and broke the Internet with a sexy magazine cover.
The acting world is a wee bit smaller than you might guess, and there were so very many actors who either got a start in or played a key role in the Harry Potter universe. Which means there have been ample opportunities for reunions of this sort in the past. One happened last year when Emma Watson was promoting The Circle and ran into Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley in the J.K. Rowling-based movies. Members of the cast have also met previously, for instance when The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened in Universal Studios in Studio City back in 2016. Emma Watson also had a different sort of reunion when she met the woman who plays the older version of Hermione in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
